Updated 2022 C2D Safe Studio Covid Plan

Please check for symptoms before coming to the studio.  Please stay home if you are not feeling well, have a fever, or have been in contact with anyone infected with COVID-19.  If your dancer is coughing, sneezing, or has a runny nose, we will not be able to have them join us for in person class. They may participate in virtual class if they are feeling up to it.

Please make sure you have your dance clothes on and have used the restroom before you arrive at the studio. Please bring your own water bottle from home that has your name on it.  The CDC recommends disposable water bottles. Cups will be available at the drinking fountain for your safety.

During drop off and pick up, face masks and social distancing are required for all dancers, parents, and staff.

Face masks will be required inside the building at all times.  When dancers are in their 6’x6’ dance space, they will be permitted to take mask and water breaks.

Please arrive no sooner than 5 minutes before your scheduled class time.

Chance To Dance has made social dis-dancing fun! Our dance floors have been sectioned off into child friendly colorful 6’x6’ foot dance spaces with Chance To Dance stickers to ensure dancers remain 6 feet apart.

Dancers and staff will be adhering to all social distancing rules.

Chance To Dance has proudly implemented some additional safety measures.

Staff will be sanitizing all high touch areas before each class. This includes barres, mats, stereo equipment, cubbies, door handles and light switches.  The entire studio will be disinfected every night.

Contactless payments can be made via auto payment or online in your parent portal.

We have created signage to make staff, parents and students aware of all COVID 19 procedures and safety protocols

Students will be encouraged to cough into their elbow or use a tissue and dispose of it immediately. Tissues will be supplied in every dance room and small enclosed trash bins will be available to dispose of any germs safely.

If you need new shoes or dance wear, you may shop for anything you need before or after your dance class.

All Chance To Dance staff members will be educated and trained on all COVID 19 procedures and safety protocols

Unfortunately, hugs, high 5’s, partner work, and lifts are not recommended at this time. We understand this will be extremely hard.  All we want to do is hug each other when we finally get to see everyone in person again.  To keep everyone as safe and as germ free as possible, we will have no physical contact. We will be using other ways to show our studio love.

Scarves, hula hoops, ribbon sticks and other props will be sanitized or washed before each use.

Attendance will be taken at each class for contact tracing. This will allow us to know who is in the building at all times.

Air purifiers with UV-C light have been installed to help kill airborne viruses in each dance room.  The electrostatic hepa media air filter reduces up to 99.97% of harmful germs, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, and other allergens as small as .3 microns from the air.

We have upgraded our studio technology to enable live streaming capabilities for any student choosing to stay home at this time.  We support the choices you make and we have options for both in person and virtual classes.

All families will be required to read and sign our Chance To Dance Safe Studio Document. This ensures everyone is aware of the procedures and policies in place to keep our community and families as safe as possible.

Thank you so much for your cooperation.
